SHORT Macky Gee is an underground Drum & Bass and Dubstep DJ and Producer hailing from Medway, Kent whose heavy and rolling sound has been entertaining the masses for a number of years. Having started DJing six years ago, he soon found the natural progression into producing and has been making experimental tracks for around four years. Completely self taught, his determination and creativity was reinforced in 2006 after a master class with Erb N Dub where he was taught different levels of DJing and producing thus improving his sound.

Ever developing and improving his music, Macky Gee has composed some of the most innovative new music heard in recent years; his heavy bass lines and choppy synth combinations have resulted in world wide support from BBC Radio Kent, BBC 1XTRA, BBC Radio 1, DNB TV, Kissy Sell out, Crissy Criss, DJ Ruffstuff, DJ Phantasy, Logan D, Capital J, Mutated Forms, Callide, Erb N Dub, Klip, DJ Addict and DJ Complex to name but a few.
Having worked with MC Spooka (BBC 1xtra), DJ Fate and Thunda B, he was asked by Thunda B in late 2010 to join the Madman Army Crew, representing every time he plays out. Macky Gee also has residency on RI Records Radio, showcasing his mixing style as well as some of his own filthy dub plates every Thursday from 8 until 10.
